Background Research

This settlement is located in the Tangerang area, precisely in Periuk, which is a densely populated area that has rows of houses close together. Many heads of families live in this area because it is a factory area. There has been a catastrophic fire with a large fire in this area due to exploding gas. This incident was quite shocking and made all residents panic. I had the opportunity to interview the head of the neighborhood from the scene, here is the biodata of the resource person:

On what day and at what time did the fire occur in Periuk?	On Saturdays at 4:15 p.m.
What caused the fire in Periuk?	A gas leak in one of the houses in a residential area. At first, the gas sounded strange and then suddenly exploded.
Are there any losses and casualties that occurred in this fire incident?	There were 3 houses that burned down due to this gas explosion and thankfully there were no casualties involved. Everyone was outside the house at the time of the incident.
What is your role as head of neighborhood in dealing with this disaster?	My first step as head of neighborhood is definitely to help people affected by disasters with open arms by providing places for people affected by disasters.
What help do residents need in the aftermath of a fire?	Until now, displaced people need assistance in the form of clothing and food.
